As officers were escorting the man to the cruiser, he broke free and fled on foot, according to police.
Officer jeff crawford pursued the man, but lost sight of him and requested backup.
Crawford and officer jason gohlike decided to search the nearby portapotty, according to police.
The sign outside the portapotty said it was in use, but the officers knocked anyway.
At that point, the man walked out of the portapotty and was arrested.
Police also charged the man with misdemeanor counts of resisting arrest, obstructing official business, falsification and solicitation without a license, jail records show.
